MESSIANIC LESSON

892 What does the bible say about captivity?

SYNOPSIS: In today’s HaShabbat lesson we are going to explore a subject most preachers will never speak about…captivity. We are going to see what the whole bible says about this subject. Does the word describe what life is like in captivity? How bad does it get for the people? Why does ELOHIM allow it? How long does it last? What does the contact & the terms for peace have to do with this topic? Can captivity be stopped? Can we stop the seven seals from opening? And finally what does the Patriarch Avraham have to do with the 4th seal in the Book of Revelation?

HASHABBAT LESSON 1: CAPTIVITY. D’varim (Deut) 28:1-15 living under grace. Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:36-39 will be just as it was in the days of Noach. Mattiyahu (Mat) 24:4-13 you will be arrested. Acts 8:1-3 entering house after house, he dragged off both men and women and handed them over to be put in prison. Luke 16:19-31 because I'm in agony in this fire!' Sh’mot (Ex) 1:8-14 making their lives bitter. D’varim (Deut) 4:20 has taken and brought out of the smelting furnace. B’resheet (Gen) 18:23-24 ten righteous must be found.
