Luke 10:25-28

 

SYNOPSIS: Can a woman forget her nursing child, the answer might surprise you. In today’s teaching we are going to look at pride, deception, lies and prostitution. We are going to explore a six parted answer Yeshua gave to people challenging Him. They asked Yeshua after calling Him Rabbi how do you read it? When you ask the Master how He reads it the answer is so deep and profound get you notebooks ready.

 

THEME 1: CAN A MOTHER FORGET HER NURSING CHILD. An interesting question Yehovah asks Yesha’yahu. In section one we are going to explore this question. We begin it with a poem first. A Mother's Love Is Forever. I've been with you since before your birth. I'll stand by your side, as long as I'm on this earth. A mother's love is special, a never-ending gift.  A love that's always there if you ever need a lift. I think of you often, never missing a day.  My love is forever, and always sent your way. You're never far from the caring thoughts in my heart. No matter how many miles ever try to keep us apart. A mother's love, your gift, the gift I'll always give to you. Luke 10:25-28

Luk 10:25  An expert in Torah stood up to try and trap him by asking, "Rabbi, what should I do to obtain eternal life?" Luk 10:26  But Yeshua said to him, "What is written in the Torah? How do you read it?" Luk 10:27  He answered, "You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your understanding; and your neighbor as yourself."

Luk 10:28  "That's the right answer," Yeshua said. "Do this, and you will have life."

A nursing mother

Isa 49:15  Can a woman forget her child at the breast, not show pity on the child from her womb? Even if these were to forget, I would not forget you.

Isa 49:16  I have engraved you on the palms of my hands, your walls are always before me."

 

A Mother's Love Is Forever
