Mattiyahu 20:28

SYNOPSIS: Lesson you have been called to serve in the Honorable Masters field for He is looking for trustful people. You will be compensated in this agreement from the Honorable Master. For He never breaks a promise. Others will come that you have not chosen to work with but the Master wants to bless many. For each person will paid according to their work. At the time of the reward be blessed that the Honorable Master will give you what He promised you. For if you covet or complain about your reward the Honorable Master might not use your services again. Then you will be looking for work with those who will not be so honorable. This lesson will be an expository look at Mattiyahu chapter 20.

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE: Mat 20:28  For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve — and to give his life as a ransom for many."

THEME 1:PERECEPTION OF DECEPTION Mattiyahu (Mat) 20:1-16 Perception of deception. You needed a blessing and it came. Now you are not happy with your deal for you forgot the reason you were looking for work. You thought you have been deceived. The keys to this part are: they made a commitment. They thought they have been deceived. They were told by the master you made a commitment I have not deceived you. I will bless whom I want now don’t tell me what to do with my money says the master. Question: do you think that farmer will hire those men again who argued and question his integrity? B’resheet 32:24-28 Law of first ref. Daybreak and the blessing that comes if you stop fighting but hold on till the end. B’resheet 9:18-20 the blessing after the sin has been washed away is found in the vine. Mishlei (proverbs) 20:13 sleeping kills. Mishlei (proverbs) 6:9-11. Proverbs 13:4. 2 Th 3:10. B’resheet (Gen) 3:19 you don’t work you don’t eat. Revelation 16:8-9 the people Curse God even more

THEME 2:  I CAN DO THAT JOB SAYS THE LITTLE BOY TO THEIR FATHER Mattiyahu (Mat) 20:17-19 I  can do that job it looks easy. Yeshua speaks about persecution from those who say they a followers of God. Yeshua tells His students that the Goyim are going to murder Him

THEME 3: COMMITMENT HAS ITS REWARDS Mattiyahu (Mat) 20:20-23 Commitment has its rewards. Yes you will work in the field and get this type of pay now do you want the job. The incredible ears that did not hear a word He just said. How many people are just like this…amazing the number is so high!!!

THEME 4: NOT TO BE SERVED BUT SERVE.  Mattiyahu (Mat) 20:24-28 Not to be served but to serve. To be a righteous servant one must first become a slave to the Master. For Messiah did not come to be served but to be the worker in the True Master’s field. And to get the reward a true servant of the Righteous King gets.

THEME 5: ARE YOU STILL BLIND. Mattiyahu (Mat) 20:29-34 Are you still blind? leaving Yericho we meet the blind men. Why does this lesson follow right after Yeshua saying I came to be a servant? Why does this part mention the city Yericho? What happened in that city?
