285 joy

285 JOY
Joh 16:20 Yes, it's true. I tell you that you will sob and mourn, and the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.
Joh 16:21 When a woman is giving birth, she is in pain; because her time has come. But when the baby is born, she forgets her suffering out of joy that a child has come into the world.
Joh 16:22 So you do indeed feel grief now, but I am going to see you again. Then your hearts will be full of joy, and no one will take your joy away from you.

Having a baby is hard work for the woman. If she is going to give birth the way Adonai has intended it is extremely hard work. But when that child is finally out of her womb she forgets all the pain that she had over the past few hours. Now she can only focus on that JOY of seeing that gift from Adonai. As a person do you focus on the Joy of knowing Yeshua? Do you follow His word? Do you follow His personal example? As these days get ever harder to be a light to anyone in the world we need to take JOY in what our King takes JOY in. As BGMC moved this past week into our new much larger home there was a lot of work to be done. As I looked around at all the different people from different nations working together to build this house of the
Lord I took JOY. But…I also knew too much is given much will be required. I knew that as long as I take JOY in HIS things it will all be ok. Do you take JOY in the work of the Lord?
