HB002B THE 7TH DAY OF HAG MATZAH

“THE HONEYMOON IS ENDING”

 

Scripture: Vayikra (Lev) 23:1-8 On the seventh day is a holy convocation. 

 

SYNOPSIS: There is so much biblical information about all of YEHOVAH’S holy days but this one. Why is this one a mystery? It is a commanded festive gathering. So why no simple things for us to do like Pesach or Sukkot? Hag Matzah day 7 is about the honeymoon is over and the marriage is about to begin. Many people plan for the wedding but not the marriage. For this holy day we are going to look at consecration, the number 7 and 21. The 7th day of Hag Matzah is more important than you can imagine.

B’resheet (Gen) 29:26-28 the honeymoon is for 1 week. Sh’mot (Ex) 29:35 You are to spend seven days consecrating them. Sh’mot (Ex) 29:1-9 Here is what you are to do to consecrate them for ministry. Mattiyahu (Mat) 26:26 Consecrating them for the Priesthood. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:15-20 In Egypt YEHOVAH said no matter where you live. Sh’mot (Ex) 12:19-20 confirming Hag Matzah for Israelite & the Nations.

Lev 23:6  On the fifteenth day of the same month is the festival of matzah; for seven days you are to eat matzah.

Exo 12:31  He summoned Moshe and Aharon by night and said, "Up and leave my people, both you and the people of Isra'el; and go, serve YEHOVAH as you said.

B’resheet (Gen) 29:26-28 the honeymoon is for 1 week.

Gen 29:26  Lavan answered, "In our place that isn't how it's done, to give the younger daughter before the firstborn. 

Gen 29:27  Finish the marriage week of this one, and we'll give you the other one also in exchange for the work you will do for me during yet another seven years." 

Gen 29:28  Ya`akov agreed to this, so he finished her week, and Lavan gave him his daughter Rachel as his wife.

Exo 29:35  Carry out all these orders I have given you concerning Aharon and his sons. You are to spend seven days consecrating them. 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 29:1-9 Here is what you are to do to consecrate them for ministry.

Exo 29:1  "Here is what you are to do to consecrate them for ministry to me in the office of cohen. Take one young bull and two rams without defect, 

Exo 29:2  also matzah, matzah cakes mixed with olive oil, and matzah wafers spread with oil—all made from fine wheat flour; 

 

CONSECRATE: H6942 קדשׁ  qâdash BDB Definition: 1) to consecrate, sanctify, prepare, dedicate, be hallowed, be holy, be sanctified, be separate 2) to be set apart, be consecrated 3) to set apart as sacred, consecrate, dedicate 4) to observe as holy, keep sacred

Mat 26:26  While they were eating, Yeshua took a piece of matzah, made the b'rakhah, broke it, gave it to the talmidim and said, "Take! Eat! This is my body!"

Exo 12:19  During those seven days, no leaven is to be found in your houses. Whoever eats food with hametz in it is to be cut off from the community of Isra'el — it doesn't matter whether he is a foreigner or a citizen of the land.

Exo 12:17 

 

Sh’mot (Ex) 12:19-20 confirming Hag Matzah for Israelite & the Nations.

Exo 12:19  During those seven days, no leaven is to be found in your houses. Whoever eats food with hametz in it is to be cut off from the community of Isra'el — it doesn't matter whether he is a foreigner or a citizen of the land.

Exo 12:20  Eat nothing with hametz in it. Wherever you live, eat matzah.' "
