 HASHABBAT LESSON: THE SPOKEN WORD. Mattiyahu (Mat) 12:36-37 for every careless word they have spoken.

Mat 12:36  Moreover, I tell you this: on the Day of Judgment people will have to give account for every careless word they have spoken;

Mat 12:37  for by your own words you will be acquitted, and by your own words you will be condemned."

Ephesians (Eph) 5:24-27 the Messianic Community to himself as a bride to be proud of.

Eph 5:24  Just as the Messianic Community submits to the Messiah, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Eph 5:25  As for husbands, love your wives, just as the Messiah loved the Messianic Community, indeed, gave himself up on its behalf,

Eph 5:26  in order to set it apart for God, making it clean through immersion in the mikveh, so to speak,

Eph 5:27  in order to present the Messianic Community to himself as a bride to be proud of, without a spot, wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and without defect.

Vayikra (Lev) 23:1-2 are ELOHIM’S days.

Lev 23:1  YEHOVAH said to Moshe,

Lev 23:2  "Tell the people of Isra'el: 'The designated times of YEHOVAH which you are to proclaim as holy convocations are my designated times.

D’varim (Deut) 28:11-15 YEHOVAH promises to do this if you do that.

Deu 28:13  YEHOVAH will make you the head and not the tail; and you will be only above, never below—if you will listen to, observe and obey the mitzvot of YEHOVAH your God

Deu 28:15  "But if you refuse to pay attention to what YEHOVAH your God says, and do not observe and obey all his mitzvot and regulations which I am giving you today, then all the following curses will be yours in abundance:

Psalm 22:23-25 a promise made in front of YEHOVAH’S witnesses.

Psa 22:23  "You who fear YEHOVAH, praise him! All descendants of Ya`akov, glorify him! All descendants of Isra'el, stand in awe of him!

Psa 22:24  For he has not despised or abhorred the poverty of the poor; he did not hide his face from him but listened to his cry.“

Psa 22:25  Because of you I give praise in the great assembly; I will fulfill my vows in the sight of those who fear him.

Mishal (Prov) 20:25 think before you speak.

Pro 20:25  It is a snare to dedicate a gift to God rashly and reflect on the vows only afterwards.

And she puts the breaks on

Ain't no doubt about it

We were doubly blessed

'Cause we were barely seventeen

And we were barely dressed

Ain't no doubt about it

Baby got to go and shout it

Ain't no doubt about it

We were doubly blessed

'Cause we were barely seventeen

And we were barely dressed

And now our bodies are oh so close and tight

It never felt so good, it never felt so right

And we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife

Glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife

C'mon! Hold on tight!

Stop right there! I gotta know right now!

Before we go any further! Do you love me? Will you love me forever?

Do you need me?

Will you never leave me?

Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life?

Will you take me away and will you make me your wife?

D’varim (Deut) 23:21-23 a voluntary spoken word.

Deu 23:21 (23:22) "When you make a vow to YEHOVAH your God, you are not to delay in fulfilling it, for YEHOVAH your God will certainly demand it of you, and your failure to do so will be your sin.

Deu 23:22  (23:23) If you choose not to make a vow at all, that will not be a sin for you;

Deu 23:23  (23:24) but if a vow passes your lips, you must take care to perform it according to what you voluntarily vowed to YEHOVAH your God, what you promised in words spoken aloud.

Mark (Mar) 6:22-24 you cannot bring back those words.

Mar 6:22  The daughter of Herodias came in and danced, and she pleased Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl, "Ask me for whatever you want; I will give it to you";

Deu 27:2  When you cross the Yarden to the land YEHOVAH your God is giving you, you are to set up large stones, put plaster on them,

Deu 27:3  and, after crossing over, write this Torah on them, every word - so that you can enter the land YEHOVAH your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as YEHOVAH, the God of your ancestors, promised you.
