Romans 5:12-19

SYNOPSIS: Do you take advantage of God’s mercy and grace towards you? A little over 10 years ago there was this craze by the Gentile church here in America. Many, many churches were promoting this book, not called the bible, but “The prayer of Jabez”. They thought Ya’betz was asking for prosperity and it was given to him. Ahh, foolish little Gentile church all they want to do is take advantage of God. They say give to me, give to me, I want, I want. In this message we will take a look at what happens to people who do nothing for the Kingdom. We will look at why Yeshua stayed in Shomron for two days. How you reward is tied together with what side of the street you walk on.

SECTION 1: DO YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YEHOVAH. What is salvation how does it work? What does the born again thing have to do with the law of taking advantage? How does it all work together? If the King of kings is kind enough to us and forgive our sins. Shouldn’t we be kind enough to Him to stop taking advantage of His mercy?

SECTION 2: LESSONS FROM THE ROAD TO EMMUS. Many people are very grateful when accepting Yeshua into their lives. They are thankful for the “FREE GIFT” of salvation. Most people stop there in the journey towards heaven. This was even evident in one of the talmidim. He walked with Yeshua. He was there with the rest after the death and burial of Messiah. But it took an eye opening experience for this man to fully comprehend who Yeshua really was. He was there for other parts of the ministry and experienced the blessings. Why was it that in his heart he was breaking the law of “Taking advantage”? Are you breaking this law that will lead you down a very dark road?
